Information We Collect
•Account information:
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email
address, and profile photo from Google solely to identify your
account.
•Academic data:
GPA entries, course names, grades, credits, tasks, college
list entries, and co-curricular activities that you manually
enter. This data is private to your account by default; other
students/users cannot view it.
•Transcript data (optional):
If you use the PDF import feature, your transcript is first
parsed locally on your device. If the local result is
incomplete, a fallback parser may review redacted academic
text. Personal fields are redacted before any transmission.
Only course names, grades, and credits are extracted and
stored.
How We Use Your Information
Information you provide is used solely to power the features of
the Dashboard — displaying your GPA, tracking tasks, and syncing
your data across devices when signed in. We do not use your data
for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the
service.
Data Storage & Security
•Signed-in users:
Data is stored in Google Firebase/Firestore and tied to your
user account for private access and sync.
•Guest users:
Data is stored locally in your browser and never transmitted
to any server.
•Confidentiality:
We do not sell, rent, or share your academic data for
commercial purposes, and we do not operate any public data
feed or student-visible database.
•Access controls:
Student records are intended to be visible only to the
signed-in account owner inside the app experience.
•Important technical note:
Like most cloud apps, authorized project administrators and
cloud providers may have limited technical access when
required for maintenance, reliability, or security. No
intentional manual review of student academic records is part
of normal operation.
Third-Party Services
The Dashboard relies on the following third-party services, each
with their own privacy policies:
•Google Firebase:
Used for authentication and cloud data storage.
Your Rights
You may delete your data at any time using the "Clear All Data"
option in the GPA Tracker. Guest users can clear their data by
clearing their browser's local storage.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes
will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use of the
Dashboard after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the
updated policy.
The Shalhevet Dashboard is an unofficial student tool for personal

Your Account & Data
•Signed-in users:
Your data (GPA, tasks, college list, co-curricular activities)
is stored in Google's Firebase/Firestore cloud and tied to
your account for private access and sync. Signing in with
Google is subject to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy
Policy.
•Guest users:
Your data is stored locally on your device using browser
storage. It is not transmitted to any server and will be lost
if you clear your browser data.
•We do not sell, share, or monetize your data with any third
party, and no other student/user can access your account
data.
PDF Import
When you use the "Import PDF Transcript" feature, your transcript
is first parsed locally on your device. If the local result is
incomplete, a fallback parser may review redacted academic text.
By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree that:
•Personal fields (name, date of birth, address,
parent/guardian names) are redacted from the text before
anything is transmitted.
•Only redacted academic text is processed, and the full PDF
is not transmitted.
•Only course names, grades, and credits are extracted and
stored by the Dashboard. No other data is retained.
•You use this feature at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of Liability
The Dashboard is provided "as is" without any warranty of
accuracy, reliability, or uptime. The developer is not liable for
any errors in calculations, data loss, service interruptions, or
any damages arising from your use of the Dashboard.

GPA Tracker
Calculate your weighted and unweighted GPA across all four years,
and automatically track graduation requirements as you add courses.
SAS and Honors courses are auto-weighted, and Advanced courses stay
unweighted per Shalhevet policy. Already have a transcript? Import
it directly — your entire course history is filled in seconds, no
manual entry needed.
Current Year for Block Schedule:Year:
PDF Import Notice: This feature is
highly useful. Importing saves significant time and is accurate.
However, do a quick review of courses, grades, and credits after
each import.

HOW IT WORKS
•Unweighted (REG):
Standard 4.0 scale. All courses calculated equally.
•Weighted (WT):
SAS and Honors courses receive a +1.0 bonus point.
•Advanced Track:
Unweighted per Shalhevet policy — no bonus point
applied.
•Auto-Weighting:
Course names with "SAS" or "Honors" auto-toggle to be
weighted.
•Credits:
Most courses = 0.5 credits per semester.
•Sync S2 Toggle:
Mirrors semester 1 course into semester 2. Only the Semester
2 grade stays editable.
•Pass / Withdraw / No Grade:
Grades of Pass (P), Withdraw (W), or No Grade (NG) are not
factored into GPA.
•Unofficial Transcript Export:
Generates a transcript from the grades you've entered,
organized by year. Not an official school document.
•PDF Import:
Your transcript is parsed locally first — no data leaves
your device unless the local result is incomplete, in which
case redacted academic text may be reviewed by a fallback
parser.
Only courses and grades are extracted.
No personal data is stored.
